Fenfiber and Cholesterol

Fenfiber is an excellent source of fenugreek fiber for cholesterol control. Here's why: in humans with type 2 diabetes, fenugreek had a positive effect on both glycemic control and lipid profiles. Big drops occurred in fasting blood glucose and serum insulin levels, as well as in total serum cholesterol, “bad” LDL and VLDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Another big plus was that no change occurred in “good” HDL cholesterol levels. For people with type 1 diabetes, very similar drops in fasting blood glucose and serum total cholesterol were also reported. Plus, Fenfiber is an odorless, tasteless fiber from white fenugreek, a hybrid fenugreek plant specially grown for us, and three servings of Fenfiber per day will supply you with a quarter of your fiber needs. All in all, for cholesterol management, Fenfiber is a great nutritional choice.
